A dim winter sun peeped in for an instant through the thick blanket of clouds. They were waiting for the bus like every day after the classes at university. There it was, it was coming.
Absently, he let the cigarette butt fall on the ground after the last puff. A little cloud of the color of the sky closed in upon him before he got on.
His gaze always turned towards that infinity concealed beyond the window of the bus.
She would have given anything to know where his thoughts were directed, what truth those eyes had perceived and then hidden in that distant, cold attitude, just like the atmosphere of that day. She turned and passed her hand on the window to look outside.
She was tired of that shade of grey that surrounded her life, her days. All that she wanted now was having a pair of wings to raise above that town to reach the blue that she knew was over there, somewhere, above that clouds.
